Playdate

The weather was absolutely gorgeous on Sat. so i decided to invite Leslie and Tripp Smith, Laura Anne and Luke Archer and my sister over for a playdate outside. Claire and Anne Grace Green came over later that afternoon too. We put blankets on the ground and took all the toys outside. It was so much fun watching the little ones play together and the adults had a good time too. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon. Hope you enjoy.

Here are a few pics of Sarah Douglas taking a bubble bath. We also had the Powers and Dunn family over for dinner a few nights ago. Sarah Doulgas LOVED being able to play with the younger children and we enjoyed the adult company. I wish i had taken more pictures! And, i didn't even get a picture of Jackson Dunn- SORRY!

A few summer pics of Sarah Douglas

Well, summer is over and it is back to the working world. Sarah Douglas and I had a wonderful summer! It was so nice to be able to stay at home with her for 2 months. I returned to work Aug. 3 and Sarah Douglas started her first day of daycare. I was pretty nervous, but she really seems to like it. The ladies who take care of her are super sweet and there are several other babies in there whom i already know. This is nice because the moms and i can talk about how things are going and her class is fairly small, which is also plus.

Sarah Douglas is growing soooooo fast. She is almost 8 months old and she is currently: sitting up all by herself for long periods of time; she has 2 bottom teeth; she babbles all day long; she is almost crawling; she continues to sleep through the night; and she is eating a little bit of table food. It is amazing to watch all the different developmental and physical milestones she is reaching.
